Valentine's Day is around the corner, but there's no need to stress during the season of love.

Here is a list of things to make your day extra special in the Brockton area – from luxurious places to dine, to spa treatments to a movie theater that serves juicy lime mojitos. If sweets are your thing, local bakers can set you up with a champagne and berries box, pink chocolate-covered strawberry bouquet or breakable hearts, the perfect way to tell someone you'll never break theirs.

No matter how you spend your special day, we have you covered. 

Giardino's Abington Italian Steak House –An Italian restaurant nestled in Abington is known for its crème brûlée and housemade pasta. A fun aspect of the dining experience is their cocktails with mini strobe lights that expand the ambiance. This season, they have a Valentine's drink menu with six cocktails inspired by love. Seafood is also a hot item on their menu. The bartender suggests trying the lobster and shrimp Giardino. 

Lucca –Where casual and upscale dining meet. The modern white and black décor will elevate your evening out. The menu includes locally made burrata, roasted seafood dishes, fresh pasta and an extensive wine list. The restaurant is located at 33 Hingham St., Rockland.

Porton di Nôs Ilha– Not your average local Cape Verdean restaurant. Instead, it's a restaurant like a work of art, according to the owners. The restaurant, located at 820 Main St. in Brockton, has a horseshoe-shaped bar with exotic drinks, including the pineapple caipirinha and fresh pressed drinks made to order. The menu comprises soup and grilled meat, including steak, pork and seafood, with premium sides of squash puree, white rice, cauliflower and more.

Tamboo Bistro – Tucked away at 252 Main St. in Brockton, the Haitian restaurant Tamboo Bistro brings a mash-up of casual and upscale dining. The family restaurant's menu is filled with flavorful creations passed down from generation to generation. Some customer favorites include red snapper steamed in sauce and spices, grito (fried pork), Djon Djon rice (black mushroom rice), coconut shrimp, fried plantains, and Caribbean chicken marinated in sauce.

Sodade Restaurant –  A cozy Cape Verdean restaurant at 1145 Main St. behind Sodade's Barbershop on Brockton's South Side, Sodade offers a taste of Mediterranean and Cape Verdean flavors. Customers can enjoy steak cooked right before their eyes on a hot skillet by the table as entertainment. The restaurant has options from grilled octopus served with fries and rice and beans to codfish and shrimp sautéed in coconut milk, served with rice and roasted plantains. Of course, seafood isn't the only popular item on the menu. You can add pan-seared steak prepared in a garlic lemon bath, served with eggs, fries, rice or a side of veggies to that list.

Orders can be placed through their Instagram direct messages. Some are pick up only and others offer a delivery option. 

Sweet Kreations – Gianna Pina started her business Sweet Kreations by Gianna by accident three years ago. She wanted to create her daughter's birthday cake and started the process in her kitchen. To the baker's surprise, the cake came out beautiful, and many people wanted in on the sweet treats.

The self-taught artist specializes in chocolate-dipped strawberries, sugar cookies and heart cakes, and a dessert box has strawberries, cake pops and a miniature personalized cake. 

Dipped By Liv – Brockton resident Ashley Spinola specializes in chocolate-decorated strawberries, Rice Krispies bars, pretzels, hot cocoa bombs and cake pops. Spinola named the business "Dipped By Liv" for her 4-month daughter, Alivia. She started the business to distract herself from her postpartum depression. 

Treats By Chy – Brockton baker Chylah Clay is known for breakable chocolate hearts stuffed with anything you'd like, chocolate-covered strawberries, cakesicles, churro cheesecake bars and hot cocoa bombs.

Yeliis Sweet Creations – This local baker offers Valentine's day specials. This week's special includes pink chocolate-covered strawberry bouquets, a dozen roses, breakable hearts, cakesicles and rose and chocolate towers. The small business also can freestyle letter boxes stuffed with goodies and strawberries or whatever your heart desires.

Made You Look Beauty – A local esthetician, Sylvie Sylvestre, wants to bring your natural beauty out through noninvasive spa treatments. A facial can be the perfect gift for your special person. The spa specializes in luxury facials and is kicking off the holiday with Valentine's Day specials. The esthetician is located at 832 Crescent St., inside the Mocha Wellness Center. Made You Look Beauty also offers full body waxing, men's waxing, "vajacials," body treatments, tattoo prep and a 24k gold gel collagen mask. 

Mocha Wellness Center – A spa experience that embodies sweet enrichment for the mind, body and soul, according to the owner, Sharlene Paul. The spa can be found at 832 Crescent St. in Brockton. The center offers massage therapy and yoga and estheticians in the spa specialize in facials, nails, lashes, makeup and microblading. 

Westgate Lanes – Bowling is the perfect casual simple date idea filled with light exercise and heavy competition. The establishment is located at 65 Westgate Drive in Brockton.

Monster Golf Norwood – Halloween meets Valentine's Day? Why not. With just a 30-minute drive, you can be introduced to the glow-in-the-dark world of monster mini golf. The course at Monster Golf Norwood, located at 1560 Boston-Providence Turnpike, has a fully glow-in-the-dark room that brings a Halloween vibe all year round.

Showcase Cinema de Lux Randolph – This luxury movie theater has an extensive drink menu starting at $12, from juicy lime mojitos to fruit-flavored margaritas with light snacks and refreshments. The movies are an excellent place to end the night after dinner. The movie theater is located at 73 Mazzeo Drive in Randolph.

Muse Paintbar – Plan a night filled with paint lessons and casual cocktails to ignite your creativity. Muse Paint Bar, located at 264 Legacy Place in Dedham, lets people from all walks of life indulge in art no matter their ability level. Muse is beginner friendly with a private lesson from an art teacher. 

Fuller Craft Museum – This renowned museum at 455 Oak St. in Brockton has six new art exhibits to explore. Admissions are free, but donations are encouraged. 

Carousel Family Fun Center – Grab your roller skates, head down to Whitman and relive your childhood memories. The local skating rink admission starts at $7 dollars and $5 dollar skate rentals.
