Samsung’s mid-range Galaxy Tab A10.1 has received a new software update in the form of the June 2022 security patch for Android devices. The update is currently live for users in Argentina and Brazil, although users in different countries can expect the update to make its way to more regions in the coming days and weeks.

The update comes with software version number T515XXU8CVF1, which brings the latest June software update, and addresses several security and stability issues on the tablet, as well as minor bug fixes.

Launched back in 2019, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A10.1 features a 10.1-inch TFT display with a 1200 x 1290 Pixel resolution, a base model with 16GB of internal storage and 2GB RAM and a souped-up version with up to 3GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, a 6,150 mAh battery, and Samsung’s Exynos 7904 Exynos chipset. The device was wrapped in an aluminum body and came with an 8-megapixel main camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Galaxy Tab A10.1 also launched with Android 9 Pie, although it received support for up to Android 11 back in 2021.
