It is behind companies like Okinawa, Hero Electric, Ola Electric, Ampere and Ather. TVS has not yet expanded its electric scooter business much. TVS iQube sold a record 4,667 units in June 2022. It was also his record monthly sale. TVS Motor MD Sudarshan Venu said that they will launch another new EV later this year.

Production target of 50 thousand units With the new investment, TVS aims to increase production of the iCube electric scooter to 25,000 units per month by the end of this year. This will more than double the current production capacity figure. TVS aims to increase production capacity by 100% by 2023. Due to which it will become 50 thousand units per month. Through this, around 5-6 lakh units can be produced every year. TVS acquired SEMG earlier this year with a 75% stake in the company.
